One roof, three quotes. Take the cheapest price on every line.

Three old problems

Three places waterproofing and insulation contractors lose money

  1. 01Heard on site

“The rolls came short, half the boards are crushed, and the driver just wants a signature.”

Record short and crushed material at the gate, with photos

AI reads the delivery note into the receipt, and the storekeeper books what actually arrived. Short rolls stay open on the LPO, and crushed boards are refused with a reason and a photo. If the invoice still bills the full quantity, the 3-way match flags it and holds the invoice before payment.

Saves money|You pay for what you received, not for what is on the LPO.

  2. 02Heard on site

“We ordered new rolls, then found a pile of leftovers sitting at the villa site.”

See leftover stock in every store before you buy

The main store and each site keep their own stock, and every transfer, issue and return is recorded. When a new roof needs material, you see what is already sitting in another store, move it, and order only the rest.

Saves money|Leftover rolls and drums get used, not bought a second time.

  3. 03Heard on site

“The crew is standing on the roof, waiting for the engineer to approve the primer.”

Site requisitions, approved on the phone

The foreman raises the requisition on his phone with the date it is needed. The amount decides how many approval steps it goes through, and each approver signs it off on his phone, wherever he is.

Saves hours|No chasing the engineer between sites, and the crew starts on time.

Questions

We run everything on Excel and WhatsApp groups today. Do we have to switch all at once?

No. Start with one project and one RFQ. Send it to your suppliers, award the LPOs and record the next delivery in materialpro, and keep everything else as it is until you are ready.

We have a main store and several sites. Can we see stock in each one?

Yes. Every store keeps its own stock of rolls, boards and drums. Transfers, issues to site and returns are recorded, and an item that runs low shows a low-stock warning on its page and on the low-stock list, so you can raise a requisition before the crew runs out.

Do LPOs and invoices handle VAT?

Yes. LPOs and invoices carry VAT, 5% in the UAE, and the supplier’s TRN is kept on the supplier record. For Kuwait and Qatar, where VAT has not been introduced, the rate stays at zero.

We do roof and wet-area waterproofing with spray foam, bitumen rolls and liquid membrane. Does that fit?

Yes. Set up each material as its own item with a code and unit: PU spray foam, bitumen membrane rolls, liquid membrane, XPS board. Keep the same unit on the LPO, DN and invoice, whether rolls, drums or boards, so the 3-way match lines up line by line.
