Several villas at once, each on its own budget
Whether you build villa shells or take them through to plaster, materialpro splits each villa’s budget into cost codes, from concrete and rebar to blocks and plaster. Every approved LPO adds to its code’s committed spend, so you see where each villa stands against its estimate before the next order goes out.
Three places a building contractor loses track across villas
- 01Heard on site
“Every villa sends its list on WhatsApp, and we find out the site needs cement the day work stops.”
Requisitions from every villa on one calendar, by the date they’re needed
The site raises a requisition with the date it needs the material. The office sees it on one calendar beside the LPOs’ expected dates for every villa, and converts it to an LPO days ahead.
Saves money|Material arrives on an LPO at your usual price, not rush-bought at the shop on the day.
- 02Heard on site
“The foreman pays cash for tie wire and nails, and the slip turns up two weeks later with no villa on it.”
Snap the till slip and book it to its villa and cost code
The foreman photographs the shop receipt and books it to the villa’s project and a cost code. Once the office converts it to a PO, the amount before VAT counts against that villa’s budget, not another villa’s, and not the company’s overheads.
Saves hours|No chasing slips at month end, and every cash buy traced to the villa it went to.
- 03Heard on site
“Every LPO waits for the boss to sign, the boss is out between sites all day, and the pour is tomorrow.”
Approval limits by amount, approved on the phone
Set who approves an LPO by its amount: below the limit the project manager’s approval is enough, above it the LPO goes on to the owner. Each approves on the phone, wherever he is.
Saves hours|Small orders don’t wait for the owner, and big ones don’t wait for him to get back to the office.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
Budgets, requisitions, receipts and approvals for every villa sit in one place, so none of it runs on WhatsApp lists, paper slips and spreadsheets anymore. Here is a sample month.

Questions
We build several villas at the same time. Can each one have its own budget?
Yes. Set up each villa as its own project with cost codes, each with an estimate taken from your BOQ. Every LPO and receipt is booked to a villa and a code, so you see committed against estimate for each villa on its own.
Our site team writes in Arabic and our office in English. Does that work?
Yes. materialpro’s screens are in English today, but item names, notes, LPO lines and supplier documents can be written in Arabic or English, the way your team and your suppliers already write them.
We work in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar. How is VAT shown?
In the UAE, 5% VAT sits on its own line on LPOs, receipts and invoices. In Kuwait and Qatar the rate is set to zero.
