Every block counted in. Every issue logged to its floor.
materialpro books the blocks, cement and sand that come into your site store, and every issue out to a floor. When stock drops below the minimum, the item is flagged, and you raise a requisition for the next floor with the date it’s needed.
Three places blockwork and plaster subcontractors lose money
- 01Heard on site
“The trailer came short and a pallet was broken, but the DN got signed for the full count.”
Count the trailer at the gate and pay only for good blocks
The storekeeper books what arrived against each LPO line on the phone. Broken blocks are refused with a reason and a photo, and whatever is missing stays open on the LPO.
Saves money|Blocks that never arrived, or came off the trailer broken, don’t get paid for.
- 02Heard on site
“The cement bag is a different price every time, and nobody remembers what we paid last time.”
See what you paid last time, then split the order
Every item keeps what you have paid: the last price, who you bought from and your average. When a quote comes in, you can see at a glance whether it’s above what you usually pay. One RFQ goes to the block factory and the traders, and each line goes to the cheapest on its own LPO.
Saves money|Every repeat order starts from what you actually paid, not from memory.
- 03Heard on site
“The foreman paid cash at the shop, and now the receipt is gone.”
Snap the till slip and put it on the right cost code
The foreman photographs the receipt on his phone and files it to the project and the plaster cost code. Once the office turns it into a PO, the amount before VAT counts against the plaster estimate, and the VAT stays on the receipt.
Saves hours|No chasing receipts at month end, and petty cash you can trace to a project.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
Stock, deliveries, prices and receipts sit in one place, so none of it runs on paper DNs, spreadsheets and WhatsApp anymore. Here is a sample month.

Questions
Our site team writes in Arabic and our office in English. Does that work?
Yes. materialpro’s screens are in English today, but item names, notes, LPO lines and supplier documents can be written in Arabic or English, the way your team and your suppliers already write them.
Do LPOs and invoices show UAE VAT?
Yes. LPOs, receipts and invoices carry 5% VAT on its own line. Each invoice is matched against the LPO and the delivery notes before payment, and if a line doesn’t match, the whole invoice is held until someone reviews it.
We run several sites, each with its own store. Can blocks move between them?
Yes. Every site keeps its own store, and transfers between stores and returns are recorded. Each issue carries a cost code and a note, such as the floor it went to, so you can see what each floor took.
