Every kilo and every piece matched before you pay.
materialpro matches each line of a steel trader’s invoice against the LPO and the delivery notes, in the unit you ordered it in: kg for beams, pieces for hollow sections and angles, m² for sandwich panel. A line billed for pieces that never came, or above the LPO rate, is flagged, and the whole invoice is held before payment.
Three places steel fabrication and shade workshops lose money
- 01Heard on site
“We send the whole steel list to the same trader every time. Who has time to split it?”
Price every section across traders and award each to the cheapest
One RFQ goes to several traders, each section in the unit you buy it in: per kg, per piece or per m². Their prices line up side by side with each trader’s total, the cheapest on every section is marked, and one click turns the split into one LPO per trader.
Saves money|Beams go to whoever is cheapest on beams, and panel to whoever is cheapest on panel.
- 02Heard on site
“Some of the tubes came cut short, and the driver had the DN signed before anyone measured.”
Photograph the DN and book only the full lengths that came off the truck
AI reads the pieces per section off the delivery note. The storekeeper books what was received, records any shortfall and rejects lengths cut short with a reason and a photo. Whatever didn’t arrive stays open on the LPO.
Saves money|Steel that never reached the workshop, or came cut short, is never paid for.
- 03Heard on site
“The workshop had the bolts and the fabric all along. The site ordered them again.”
Check the workshop store before the site orders
The workshop and every site keep their own store. When a site requisition comes in with its needed-by date, see what the workshop already holds, move it with a recorded transfer, and put only the rest on an LPO.
Saves money|Stock sitting in the workshop gets used, not bought twice.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
LPOs, delivery notes, invoices and stock for the workshop and every site sit in one place, so none of it runs on paper DNs, spreadsheets and WhatsApp anymore. Here is a sample month.

Questions
Our trader sells beams by the kg and tubes by the piece. Does the match handle both?
Yes, as long as each line keeps the same unit on the LPO, the delivery note and the invoice. Order beams per kg and tubes per piece, and each line is checked in its own unit. The system doesn’t convert between units, so a section ordered per piece is received and invoiced per piece.
We build car-park shades, screens, gates and sandwich-panel sheds on several sites at once. Can we see what each job costs?
Yes. Put each LPO on its project and cost code, and you see what is committed against the estimate for each code. Bolts and paint issued from the workshop store to a job carry a cost code and a note, so you can see where they went.
Trader invoices in the UAE carry 5% VAT. What about Kuwait and Qatar?
VAT is set on the LPO and the invoice: 5% on UAE documents, none on Kuwait and Qatar documents. The match still checks quantity and rate on every line, so a gap stands out on its own.
