Three places you lose money on ready-mix
- 01Heard on site
“One plant’s rate includes ice and pumping, the next adds them on top. Who’s actually cheapest?”
Compare plants per m³, grade by grade, and split the award
Send one RFQ with every grade and quantity, and ask each plant for an all-in rate per m³ with ice and pump included. The cheapest rate per grade is ticked, and a split award becomes separate LPOs. Before you award, check the C40 price history: your last price paid and your average.
Saves money|Splitting by grade beats handing the whole package to the cheapest plant.

“We sent a mixer back because the concrete was already going off, and it still turned up on the month-end invoice.”
Reject the load on site, and don’t pay for it
The engineer rejects the load on the phone with a reason and a photo, so it is recorded as rejected, not received. If the plant still bills it, the 3-way match flags the concrete line and holds the whole invoice until the difference is sorted out.
Saves money|A load that went back to the plant doesn’t get paid for by mistake.
- 03Heard on site
“The pour’s tonight, the PM is on another site, and the plant won’t send a single mixer without an LPO.”
LPOs approved on the phone, well before a night pour
LPOs above your amount threshold go step by step to the right approvers. The PM approves from wherever he is, and every step is kept in the audit trail.
Saves hours|The LPO is approved in minutes, not after half a day of phone calls, and the pour keeps its slot.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
Delivery notes, plant quotes, LPOs and invoices sit in one place, so checking no longer means a pile of paper and an Excel sheet. Here is a sample month.

Questions
We run on WhatsApp photos and Excel today. Do we have to change everything at once?
No. Start with one site and one plant. The storekeeper keeps photographing delivery notes, just in the app instead of a chat group, and everything else can stay as it is until you’re ready.
Plant invoices in the UAE carry 5% VAT. Does the system handle it?
Yes. VAT is shown on LPOs and invoices, and 5% is the default rate for a company in the UAE. In Kuwait and Qatar, where there is no VAT, no tax is added by default.
We pour on several sites at once. Can we see the cost per site and per element?
Yes. Each project has its own LPOs and deliveries, and spend is split by cost codes such as footings, columns and slab, so you see the estimate against what is already committed for each one.
