Every LPO against its BOQ line. See what’s left before you buy.
In materialpro, every LPO on an interior fit-out or decoration job is coded to a line of your BOQ, so each line shows its estimate, what is committed and what is left. Quotes, deliveries and invoices are checked in the same place.
Three places fit-out contractors lose money and time
- 01Heard on site
“Three suppliers quote the board, studs and grid, and each one is cheapest on a different line.”
Compare suppliers line by line and split the award
Send one RFQ for the boards, studs, tracks and grid behind your partitions, ceilings and gypsum decor to several suppliers. Their prices sit side by side, line by line, the cheapest on each is marked, and the split award becomes one LPO per supplier. Before you award, you can check an item’s price history and the last price you paid.
Saves money|No more re-ordering at the usual supplier’s price without checking it.
- 02Heard on site
“The flooring invoice came for the full quantity. Only part of it had arrived.”
Every invoice line checked against the LPO and the delivery notes
AI reads the supplier’s invoice and matches each line to the LPO and to what was received on the delivery notes. A line billed beyond what arrived is flagged, and the whole invoice is held until the difference is sorted out.
Saves money|You pay for the square metres that reached site, not the ones on the LPO.
- 03Heard on site
“The PM’s on another site, the request is waiting for his signature, and handover is next week.”
Material requests approved on the phone, before handover slips
The site engineer raises a requisition with a needed-by date. Anything above your amount threshold goes to the PM, who approves it on his phone, and the LPO’s expected date shows on the calendar next to the date site needs it.
Saves hours|Approvals take minutes instead of a day, so crews aren’t left waiting for material.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
LPOs, delivery notes, invoices and BOQ cost codes sit in one place, so a fit-out no longer runs on spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. Here is a sample month.

Questions
Can we track spend against each line of our BOQ?
Yes. Set up each BOQ line you want to follow, from partitions and ceilings to flooring and paint, as a cost code with its estimate, and code every LPO to one. Each line then shows its estimate, what has been committed and what is left.
Supplier invoices carry 5% VAT. Does the system handle that?
Yes. VAT is set on the LPO and on the invoice, so the 5% shows on each document. The match still checks quantity and price on every line, so a difference stands out on its own.
We run several fit-out and decoration jobs at once, plus a main store. Can we see stock per site?
Yes. Each site and the main store keep their own stock. Leftover tiles, boards and paint move with a recorded transfer, and material is issued to the job or returned, so a new site doesn’t re-order what another store already holds.
