Spot a late board delivery while there’s still time to chase it
Whether it’s suspended ceilings or drywall partitions, materialpro puts each floor’s board requisition on the calendar on its needed-by date, and each LPO on its expected delivery date. When an LPO lands after the day the crew needs the boards, you see it on the calendar and chase the supplier before the ceiling gang stands idle.
Three places a ceiling contractor loses time and money

“Every supplier gives a different price, green board costs a fortune, and nobody remembers what we paid last time.”
Compare boards, channels and tiles line by line, then split the order
Send one RFQ for boards, channels and 60×60 ceiling tiles, plus drywall screws and jointing compound, to several suppliers and see every quote side by side, with the cheapest on each line marked. Before you award, open an item’s price history for the last price you paid and your average, and you can see at a glance when a quote is above what you usually pay. Boards can go to one supplier and channels to another, each on its own LPO.
Saves money|Each line goes to whoever is cheapest on it, not to whoever you rang first.

“The DN says 400 boards. We unloaded 370, and some of the ‘green’ ones were plain board.”
Photograph the DN and book only the boards that really came
AI reads the delivery note, so nobody retypes it. The storekeeper books what came off the truck on his phone, refuses wrong or broken boards with a reason and a photo, and the rest stays open on the LPO.
Saves money|Boards that never came, or came as the wrong type, never get paid for.

“We don’t know what we’ve spent on gypsum until the package is finished.”
See the ceilings budget fill up as each LPO is approved
Ceilings and drywall partitions each get a cost code with the estimate from your BOQ. Every approved LPO adds to what is committed, so you know where you stand floor by floor, not at the end.
Saves hours|No month-end spreadsheet, and you see committed spend closing on the estimate while floors are still left to order.
Hours and money back, added up over a month
Requisitions, LPOs, delivery notes and invoices sit in one place, so none of it runs on paper DNs, spreadsheets and WhatsApp anymore. Here is a sample month.

Questions
The supplier’s invoice bills the full LPO, or last month’s price. What happens?
AI reads the invoice, and it is matched line by line against the LPO and what was actually received. Any line that doesn’t match is flagged, and the whole invoice is held until someone reviews it. LPOs and invoices show the 5% VAT on its own line.
Boards, channels, boxes of tiles and jointing compound move between floors and sites. Can we keep track?
Yes. Each site and your main store keep their own stock, and every transfer, issue and return is recorded. An issue carries a cost code and a note, such as the floor it went to. When an item drops below its minimum, it shows on the low-stock list, so you know to raise a requisition.
We work on spreadsheets and WhatsApp, in Arabic and English. Do we have to change everything at once?
No. Start with one site and one LPO. The app’s screens are in English today, while item names, notes and LPO lines can be written in Arabic or English, the way your team and suppliers already write them, such as RG, MR and FR board.
