Every pole out, every pole back,
accounted for

Scaffold material moves between sites all month: poles snap, tubes get borrowed, fittings go missing. materialpro puts a record behind every issue, return and top-up, so month-end reconciliation stops relying on memory.

  • Bamboo
  • Metal scaffold
  • Truss-out scaffold

Three systems, three ways of buying

Bamboo, metal and truss-out scaffolds each buy differently

Same trade, different materials, units and weak spots.

01

Bamboo scaffold

Traditional bamboo pole build

What you buy
Long and short bamboo poles, bamboo strips, plastic ties, safety and debris netting
How it is counted
By pole, bundle and roll; frequent top-ups, prices move with supply
Where it leaks
Snapped poles are hard to trace one by one, and stock sits across many sites

02

Metal scaffold

Steel tube and coupler system

What you buy
Steel tubes, couplers and fittings, base plates, boards, braces
How it is counted
By piece, set and board; owned or hired, many part types
Where it leaks
Parts get lent between sites, and returns come back short or mixed

03

Truss-out scaffold

Suspended-type scaffold (吊棚)

What you buy
Purpose-made steel components, fasteners, wire rope and accessories
How it is counted
By component; common on façade repair and high-level work
Where it leaks
Each component needs tracking for location, inspection and maintenance

Scaffold stock ledger

See what is on every site at a glance

Issue, return and stock count sit side by side, so a shortfall shows up during the month — not when you dismantle.

Month-end reconciliation

Four things scaffolding owners lose sleep over

  • “At month-end the site is short — but nobody knows when it went missing.”

Every issue, return and transfer posts to the stock ledger, so the day and document where a gap appeared are one search away.

  • “Bamboo and tube prices move every few days. Who is actually cheapest?”

Request the same items from several suppliers; AI reads each quotation and lays them side by side, with the decision on record.

  • “Delivery notes are scattered across sites and quantities never tie up.”

Site staff photograph the delivery note; AI extracts items and quantities and matches the PO, listing shortfalls straight away.

  • “The invoice arrives and it doesn't match what we received.”

Invoices are checked three ways — against the PO and the receiving record — and price or quantity gaps come to you before payment.

FAQ

What scaffolding contractors ask first

Can bamboo and metal scaffold run through the same process?

Yes. Each material gets its own unit — poles, pieces, sets — and stock is held per site or yard. Both systems share the same requisition, quote, PO, receiving and invoice flow.

Our material is spread across sites. How do we know what each has?

Set each site up as a warehouse. Issues, returns and transfers post to the stock ledger, so you can view the balance by site at any time and trace each movement.

Can we compare supplier quotes quickly for a last-minute top-up?

Site staff raise a requisition on their phone, the office requests quotes from several suppliers, AI helps read each quotation, and the best one converts to a PO in one step.

How are supplier delivery notes and invoices checked?

Site staff photograph the delivery note; the system extracts items and quantities and matches the PO. Invoices are then compared with the PO and receiving record, and price or quantity variances are listed for your review before payment.

Does materialpro replace our accounting system?

No. materialpro focuses on procurement, receiving and stock records. How it connects with your accounting system is something we can cover in a demo.
